About Maria
Savannah Street Design & Antiques was founded in 2020 with the goal of finding and offering classic, foundational pieces for a well-loved home. What started with a few listings on Chairish.com, eventually evolved into today’s model of online consignments and auctions.
Maria Gall is the owner and founder of Savannah Street Design & Antiques. Maria has lived in Charlottesville since 2002 when her parents dropped her off at her dorm room at the University of Virginia. After working in education and non-profit fundraising for 15 years, Maria changed course in July of 2020 and embraced her love of interior design by starting Savannah Street.
Savannah Street is named after the street Maria’s father grew up on in Niagara Falls, NY. The name is a nod to family, humble beginnings, and hard work - with a touch of Southern style.
